Terms & Conditions
- The minimum age for participants is 18 years of age.
- Old Haunts should receive full payment for any booking no less than 28 days before the event. We reserve the right to re-advertise places where payment is not received on time. Any deposits already paid will not be refunded.
- Absolutely no drugs or alcohol will be permitted on our events. Anyone suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be denied access or removed from the event. Refunds in these circumstances will not be given.
- You are welcome to bring your own equipment to the event but please be advised that Old Haunts cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage to personal property during our events. Please take care of your own property.
- We will be conducting most of the event in darkness so, in the interests of your own safety and well-being, please bring a torch with you.
- Please contact Old Haunts for information regarding wheelchair/disabled access at our venues.
- Anyone sending photographs or video footage to Old Haunts to display on our website will get full credit for their contribution unless the owner requests otherwise. Names do not have to be attributed to the media.
- The event will require you to be awake all night so please consider booking accommodation so you can get some sleep before your drive home. Remember, tiredness kills!
- Smoking is now illegal in any public buildings. During our events smoking areas & breaks will be arranged if possible.
- If you are pregnant we would strongly recommend that you do not take part in our investigations.
- Although we cannot foresee any problems, accidents/incidents do happen. You are staying at the location at your own risk; we accept no liability for any accident or injury to yourselves, however caused.
- By agreeing to these terms and conditions you further indemnify the organisers/promoters from and against all legal liability in respect of any costs, claims, damages, demands, penalties, actions, proceedings, suits, losses or expenses in respect of or arising out of the injury to or the death of any person, or damage to any property arising from my participation in the activity.
- Throughout the event you and your party will act in a sensible manner and will not cause harm or injury to anyone else, any animal, effect of property etc. Anyone acting in a manner contrary to this will be removed from the event.
- In the unlikely situation that one of our events is cancelled or postponed due to adverse weather conditions or situations beyond our control, Old Haunts will make every effort to ensure you receive a prompt refund of payment. If the event is moved or rescheduled, we may set refund limitations. Any expenses incurred due to the cancellation of an event will not be refunded.
- Any and all services from Old Haunts are for entertainment purposes only. We make no guarantees regarding the validity, truth, or likelihood of any and all information obtained from our employees, psychics, mediums and clairvoyants on any of our events.
- We cannot guarantee that paranormal activity will take place on the night you stay. However, to date our spirit friends haven't disappointed us. We accept no responsibility if you have to change your under-garments after a sighting or incident!
- Our consultants are professional consultants; however, any statements made by that consultant is the sole opinion of the individual consultant and do not reflect the opinions or policies, stated or otherwise, of Old Haunts. You are the Customer are therefore responsible for making your own decisions and it is understood that when our employees, psychics, mediums and clairvoyants suggest something to you, it is an opinion of the consultant, and should NOT be interpreted as the only course of action.
